SCCHA’s annual MTW Plan identifies and outlines the agency’s MTW activities for the upcoming fiscal year. SCCHA’s annual MTW Report compares the annual plan’s projected activity outcomes to the corresponding year’s actual performance.
The annual plan is due to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by April 15. The annual report is due to HUD by September 30.
The creation of the annual plan has many steps prior to its approval.
SCCHA’s MTW Annual Plan for fiscal year 2020 covers the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FY 2020 MTW Annual Plan received technical amendments on March 24 and March 26, 2020. The technical amendments (Activities 2020-5, 2020-6, and 2009-1) are temporary activities designed to address the crisis caused by the pandemic and will expire June 30, 2021 or six months after shelter-in-place orders have been lifted, whichever is later. Activity 2020-5 allows tenants to rent units where their portion of rent would be up to 50% of their monthly income. Activity 2020-6 reduces the frequency of periodic unit inspections and delays scheduled periodic inspections for up to twelve months. Re-proposed Activity 2009-1 reduces the frequency of regular reexaminations and delays scheduled regular reexaminations for up to twelve months.
