The AA- credit rating not only validates the Housing Authority’s past achievements but also positions the agency for future growth. The rating will also enhance the authority’s ability to secure favorable financing terms, attract investment, and expand its housing programs to benefit more families in need of affordable housing options in Santa Clara County.

The Santa Clara County Housing Authority proudly announces the purchase of Rincón de los Esteros Family Apartments, a 246-unit multi-family property located at 1780 Oakland Rd, San Jose, CA 95131, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s broader strategy to expand its portfolio of affordable housing options and ensure the long-term sustainability of affordable housing for Santa Clara County. The Santa Clara County Housing Authority received the largest funding award through the MORE Program of all 25 projects throughout the state for Buena Vista Mobile Home Park in the City of Palo Alto, totaling $24,595,646. The Housing Authority previously received a grant of $5 million from the State of California’s CalHome program which enables low- and very low-income households to become or remain homeowners.

The Santa Clara County Housing Authority is pleased to announce a significant milestone in its efforts to preserve and improve the Buena Vista Mobile Home Park, in Palo Alto, CA. The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) issued the first-ever round of awards from a pioneering state program, called the Manufactured Housing Opportunity & Revitalization Program (MORE), which is designed to improve health and safety conditions at mobile homes parks across California.
